De Greftenhoeve in Vriezenveen opens its pick-your-own field Wednesday-Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00 in high season at €6.50/kg. Its 11 July update lists abundant blueberries, ripe redcurrants and limited late gooseberries; recheck on travel day.
- Blueberries lead the current harvest and are available in volume; late Rovada redcurrants are ripe, blackcurrants sold out and gooseberries are nearly finished, showing that one farm has several seasonal clocks.
- Self-picked fruit costs €6.50/kg and pre-picked blueberries €8/kg. Give each child a small container and weight target so enthusiasm does not create more fruit than a household can use.
- The high season runs 15 June-15 September and closes Monday, Tuesday, Sunday and public holidays. Coffee and blueberry vlaai are available; wear sun cover and closed shoes for wet ground.
