A slice of bread at breakfast looks ordinary, yet it connects soil, transport, habit and the question of who carries environmental costs. ARTIS-Groote Museum’s workshop “Wat gaan onze achterkleinkinderen eten?” does not prescribe a futuristic menu. Visitors taste and discuss what we eat now, where food comes from and what could disappear or emerge by a great-grandchild’s lifetime. Museum.nl states that participation is included with museum admission, Museumkaart is valid, and many dates remain listed through late August and September. Hokimi values the way the workshop brings sustainable eating back to family decisions. It need not force a child to accept one “correct” food; instead, compare season, distance, nutrition, cultural memory and price. The useful skill is explaining a choice between competing costs, not guessing a perfect future diet.
